CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

The British Council in partnership with School of Leadership Foundation (SoLF) and other partner organizations is launching a new multi-year programme titled Developing Inclusive and Creative Economies (DICE). The programme will be delivered in five countries; South Africa, Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia and Brazil as well as the UK.

This new initiative is designed to address the following two critical issues emerging economies today:

Issue 1: Rising unemployment, underemployment and poor-quality employment prospects for young people in emerging economies

Issue 2: The lack of inclusive growth in emerging economies which is translating into instability, political disaffection and affecting growth

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Internal coordination with Administration & Finance for procurement and logistics
• External coordination with the development sector
• Regional hiring for DICE mobilizers
• Orientation & Coordination of DICE mobilizers
• Managing partnerships with the stakeholders e.g. Incubators, NIC’s, Mentors, Faculty & Facilitators
• Launching DICE clubs and manage monthly meets with the help of regional mobilizers

Implementation of Monitoring & Evaluation tools and guidelines set by the M&E manager
